Being trying to start biding. How am I supposed to learn how to write a proposal.

Me and my wife has been learning about government contracting but we are so busy. Plus I think we are lost and nervous about preparing a bid. I think is that that we could so much time into a bid and not win. Is there place to see examples. Also do they have to be 10-20 pages. Iām looking any advice really, I would really appreciate any feedback.
