Ladies- how do you jazz up plain black tops and dresses?
Post Body

I have a few plain-ish long sleeve tops and dresses that are very flattering and functional, but whenever I wear them I feel like something is missing. What's a fun way to make the look more 'substantial'? Links to examples would be extra appreciated :)

A little more info; I am bordering plus size (16/XL for most bottoms L/XL for tops, size 14/L for most dresses), and pear-shaped, so my waist is the smallest point on my torso and I have broad hips and a really thick bum. Accentuating my waist is usually the most flattering look for me.
