I can place/receive calls just fine when choosing "prefer wi-fi." Unfortunately, I'm away from clean data often, so my calls get droppy and crappy. I used to be able to switch to "carrier only" with no problem.
However now, when I try to place a call using "carrier only," I get "google voice can't connect your call."
I've uninstalled/reinstalled, deleted the device, reinstalled the native dialer app, changed the android (samsung galaxy S21 ultra) phone setting to not use wifi calling. It worked until recently, and I can't figure out what might have changed.
