Let me start by saying i'm an idiot and have no idea what i'm doing.
1 story house, just got a 3 point mesh system.
Main unit is in my living room in the middle of my house, I have the ethernet cable going from the modem to the unit, I am also running an ethernet cable from the unit to a PS5 (in hopes of a more stable connection)
1st node is in a bed room at one end of the house with an ethernet cable going into a different ps5 (hoping for a stable connection)
2nd node is in an office at the other end of the house with an ethernet cable going into my desktop (in hopes of a more stable connection)
Am I making things worse by hardlining the 2 ps5's and the desktop?
I previously had a crappy knock off mesh system that actually was pretty good. Speed wise it was super fast, the only downside is occasionally I would have a big drop or lag spike on my ps5.
With the google everything seems much slower, but atleast after a few hours testing everything seems stable.
Just wondering if ive done this all wrong.
