Did anyone else swap out their Pixel watch strap first try?

Just picked up this bad boy over black friday, and one of the things I was most curious about was how difficult it would be to swap straps. I remember seeing in almost every review that the mechanism to swap straps was something that would need some getting used to, but would become more natural over time.
I swapped out the strap for the small one that comes in the box, and to my surprise I did it first try with no hassle and not even following the manual.
Just curious how others feel about the mechanism overall!
