What is keeping Google from having 3 cameras on the Pixel?

A 90Hz phone improved battery 3 Pixel cameras (main, ultra wide, and telephoto) $800 or less price = a great competitor for the iPhone 12 and other Android phones.
Why do you think Google keeps leaving out a third camera? Couldn't they have used the same sensor from last year?
Do you think Google will put 3 cameras on the Pixel 6?
