Recently, as I have been lurking in multiple forums, I have been seeing multiple posts that owners of the Pixel 4 XL that they bought from AT&T, once the device has been paid off and the Sim lock was removed, AT&T has figured out a way for the bootloader to be unlocked as well. Can anyone confirm this is the case ? And can anyone also tell me how the unlocking process went after the device was unlocked through the AT&T unlocking portal considering there is no official unlock code that you need to enter in order to use a new SIM card ? Was there an OTA update that was pushed to the device that allowed the device to be unlocked ?
