I got a Pixel from my uncle who had it for a year. He bought it from Verizon, I think. He gave me his phone and I tried turning it on and the phone would say 'Your device is corrupted. It can't be trusted and may not work properly'. Then it says to press power to continue with the boot sequence (I presume). I do that and it flashes the Google logo for a second and then the phone goes back to the 'Your device is corrupted.....' screen.
I then plugged it in while the phone was in recovery mode to my PC and used fastboot devices and saw that the device was recognized. Then I did a fastboot flashing unlock and it didn't work saying that failed: oem unlock (by which I understood that oem wasn't unlocked in developer mode on the phone). I'm now wondering whether there is any fix to this phone or does my uncle have to take it to the Verizon Store or wherever he got it from?
