Pixel Tablet - Cheaper everywhere else?

Hey all. As we all know, the Pixel Tablet is $400 (no dock). I'm seeing it being sold for much cheaper elsewhere, brand new. The average price on Swappa for example, is in the $260s. Saw a few on eBay around the same (auction-style but ending within hours).
Any idea why?
