EDIT: [FIXED] So my google pixel 8 won't let me enroll any fingerprint because it won't allow me to use the finger sensor in the first place.... has anybody else had this problem?

It's a fresh factory reset. so I didn't have any fingerprints pre-installed. Is it a software problem? maybe an update? or bug? Please help me, it's so frustrating

EDIT: So I found a reddit post that fixed my problem! If you guys encounter it too try looking here for a guide. I found that this is a common problem when your phone gets an LCD replacement.
