Google Support denying warranty on Pixel 5a because it was purchased from Google Fi
Post Body

My beloved Pixel 5a bit the bullet and died, as so many others have.

I contacted Google support to see about having my phone repaired under the 5a's extended warranty. I was told by support that my phone didn't qualify because it was purchased when I signed up for Google Fi and not from the Google Store. My purchase shows in the Google Store under my account. I since have changed carriers because the Fi coverage in my area is poor.

I'm baffled by this. Has anyone else run into this or does anyone have suggestions?
