As a pixel 7 pro user, I am frustrated that a flagship device that costs more than $1,000 does not perform like a flagship, and doesn't even have all the flagship specs that it could have. Here's what Google needs to do to make the pixel 9 pro the best flagship that it could be. One. Ditch the tensor processor, and go with a fucking Snapdragon processor. There's a reason why the Snapdragon generation 3 and even the media tech dimensiting 9300 outperformed the tensor line. The snapdragon processor has a proven track record of success. Google should use that, instead of their own chip which is so subpar. It's laughable. Too. Adam, minimum, put 16 gigs of RAM on the Pixel 9 pro. 12 gigs ain't enough, especially for those of us like me who use the shit out of our pro phones. Three. Fix Google dictation. I shouldn't have to manually go in and fix dictation errors, when Google dictation used to be at the top of the game. I don't know what has happened in recent updates, but Google dictation is nowhere near as good as it used to be. For. There should be no reason that I should get a message that video quality may be reduced, when I am recording in 4K video for an extensive length of time. I bought a pixel 7 pro for the fucking camera, so I bought it to use the hell out of it, not to go easy with it. If I wasn't into photography and videography that much, I would have went with a fucking 7A. Give me a goddamn camera that can perform like a beast. Also, while we are on the subject of cameras, put either a 50 megapixel shooter on all four of the cameras, or a 200 megapixel shooter on all four cameras. If you are going to claim the pixel is the epitome of Android, then step up to the plate with the right hardware. Five. Give those of us who want it a fast charging option, such as the 200 watt fast charging that is available on certain xiaomi phones. I know some people are going to go on and on about battery degradation, but again, I buy a pro phone to use the hell out of it, so I want fast charging speeds. And, while I am on the subject of charging, put the fucking charger in the goddamn box where it belongs. Six. Give us a terminal mode so that we can troubleshoot our devices using the Unix command line. If this can be done using command prompt on Windows, terminal for Mac, and even in Chrome OS, we should have this kind of capability on Android devices. Seven. Give us the option to install multiple operating systems on the device. For what these phones have, I should also be able to use a pixel device as a full-fledged computer, no matter what operating system or systems I want to install on it. Pixel devices should be the king of Android devices, and Google really needs to step up to make their devices king. Stop letting competitors blow you out of the water, when you have the capability to blow them out of the water and make them go bankrupt. Give us full value for what we are paying for.
