File Size Difference Between iPhone and Pixel 8 Pro?

I got a new Pixel8 having finally decided to leave Apple. I connected with the cable and did the transfer between the phones.

The majority of my photos never made it across, none of my apps were copied over but the biggest issue is that even though my photos never copied over for some reason my iPhone reads storage at 54.7GB of 128GB used

But the Pixel is 97GB of 128GB.

I got the 128GB to save money since i have had my 12 mini since launch and barely touching the sides of its storage and now I nearly no space left at all on my new phone and half my photos are missing

What gives?
