Verizon just decomm'ed its messaging app so I've switched to Google and I can't figure this out, maybe you all can help me.
I get texts all day and I want them to be silent, BUT, I have one user who I want to get a notification sound from. This was super easy in Verizon Message but I can't figure it out in Google Messages. It seems to be everyone is silent, or everyone gets tones.*
- I know I can go into each of my 40 or whatever conversations and set them to silent, but that's a pain, and it doesn't work for new contacts. What I want is to set the default to silent, but have a tone for just one user.
I thought "Set this as not a conversation" might do the trick, but it didn't.
Anyone figure this out and willing to share? TIA!
