Over the years I’ve noticed that most GPS systems like Google maps and Apple Maps are just completely less reliable than they were 3-5 years ago. They don’t take you on the quickest most efficient route (even if you have it set to that), they are horrible with live traffic and construction updates (I get caught in deadlocked traffic constantly with no rerouting) and it’s just overrall frustrating. I used to argue with my gf that using GPS is the most quickest efficient way, but now she’s right. I’ve been just going off course to my own routes and have been getting quicker results using my own reasoning.
At this point it’s like GPS is only useful for getting to places you don’t know how to get to.
