Data just keeps goong up and up in Fi app, yet carrier data usage under signal details shows significantly less? Anyone else delt with this?

So yeah. My data usage is climbing like crazy on the Fi app. It went up almost a full GB when I wasnt even using it watching a movie. I pulled up my details when you open the connection settings, and theres almost a 7 gig difference. Hell, even when I open the app usage in the Fi app it shows what really shows up in my other settings.
My data use has seemed insane the past couple days, and Im just really confused that it keeps going up when its not reflected in what Im really using.
