I'm in Canada for an extended period, as I have been off-and-on for the last 4 years. Everything was working great with Fi all this time. But in the last few months something changed, and now I can't seem to make calls from Canada, to a Canadian number, unless I add not just the country code but ALSO the symbol.
Yet, neither the Phone app dialer, nor the Hangouts dialer let you type the plus symbol. So, you either need to copy/paste/edit/copy/paste back to the dialer, or add the number as a contact.
I mean, that's the workaround I figured out. But I'm wondering if there's just something fundamentally different or incorrect I've picked up over the last few months. I really only make calls on this phone 2-3 times per month. Going to post to Fi support, but wanted to post here, too, in case someone figured it's user error.
