Paper shredder no base?

So the paper shredder I use at home recently went out and I've been keeping my eye open for a new one. The other day Goodwill had one for $5.99 and one for 7.98. I plugged both in and made sure they both work and even shredded up some manual from some thing to make sure of it before I left. I noticed it was a little difficult to keep the shredder too on the part it's sat on. It wouldn't necessarily slide off but it was hard to get the base to move around on ots little back wheels and keep the shredder from sliding or coming out of place and now today I get home and I notice that they sold me the fucking shredder on top of the pull out basket. The base with actual wheels the the pull out basket goes into and the top sits on isnt even fucking there. And that was how I found it in the bin. Should I have noticed this myself? Maybe, but the top has a part that actually fits down on the top of the shredder wall that allows it to work, it LOOKS like it fits on there as it should until you back up and get s good whole angle view, and the basket had wheels on the back so I figured it was fine and I just wasn't fully putting it on right and wouldn't home. Should I've nad that they put that in the floor without notice or did a worker do the same thing I did? I had to hoodnitnynahainst my body when I took it to the car so the top didn't slide off and break, inshiuldve known.

Does Google have a return policy or anything I'm not even sure that I want to return it but the option might be nice at least the shredder looks normal and doesn't necessarily look like it's missing anything unless you really stop and stare and think about it and at least it's works which is the best part of all. it was only like $8 for like $150 original shredder although it is missing probably 50% of the product itself.

I want to go back by there tonight and see if maybe perhaps the base was left there even though I don't recall seeing anything like that there was only one other paper shredder and it was sitting on the base of its own so
