Hello Reddit, I am attempting to design and build a tablet navigation system for a fleet of weather research vehicles. I am looking for advice with regards to purchasing. Here's a ballpark of what we need:
Has to have: * Android * Large screen * Mounted in a vehicle
Would be really nice: * USB-A port separate from charging port * SD card reader * magnetic mount * wireless charging (either by design or after market)
Ideally we would have a magnetically mounted, detachable tablet that charges when you reattach. We have poles already in the truck to mount to, but I am open to other ideas. The tablet must be Android, must have a medium-to-large screen, and it would be nice to have one USB-A port, since we will regularly have to attach thumb drives (don't want to have to use some dongle thing). An SD card slot would be a bonus but not required.
Thanks ahead of time!
