Callie & Mariana graduate and move to Los Angeles.
I really liked the part where Callie ran the scene of her telling Malika that the judge she was clerking for got the Thompson case in her head instead of saying it immediately.
Her hesitation and eventually witholding of that info reflects her maturity. Earlier in the episode, we see her getting the whole spiel about being careful not to show any signs of impropriety whether that be through online or in person and so far her actions have shown she's not the same impulsive Callie from The Fosters.
I'm looking forward to see how Mariana has changed too. I didn't see anything different about Mariana from The Fosters vs. Mariana from this episode but maybe it flew over my head.
Overall good episode. Excited for the rest of the season. Love the soundtrack too, especially the cover of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. It fit the scene perfectly. Audibly sighed with Callie's state school experience among Ivy Leagues pedigree because of the accuracy and Mariana's somewhat isolation and adjustment in the male dominated STEM field. End of the episode with her revising the assets folder kicked ass though. Ready to see more of her feisty and smart side!
