Observations from a new iPad Pro digital planner user.
Post Body

For the record, I love everything about GoodNotes, except the actual writing experience. If anyone has any tips on how to reduce those “tails”, and make a better fountain pen, kindly let me know as I do love this app and have paid for the year.

I checked out Noteful, and it was cool and all, but seeing the slight corrections to your text as you write distracts the heck outta me.

Noteshelf 3 was a game changer. While it can be slightly buggy at times, the writing experience is unreal. Specifically the fountain pen, which feels like a better version of the Apple fountain pen. My writing felt more natural and looked a LOT better! Sounds silly, but it makes me want to pick up my iPad and start writing more as it is extremely satisfying.

You can also click the links in digital planners without having to go into a read mode, which is nice.

The one time payment is the same price as a one year to GoodNotes, but as it’s pretty much the price of two real notebooks, I don’t mind having both.

I’d say to check out Noteshelf 3 on one of the free notebooks they give you (similar to GoodNotes 6) to just test out how the pen feels!

All I know is I am loving the journey! 😇
