Hello everyone! I had no idea there was another place to put my smut! Today I have a post that is different from what I’ve been putting out so far. This script is adapted from a story originally written by the talented u/jtwahl whose original story I was so taken by I wanted to turn into a script for an audio. Please go check him out, he has some other equally great stories, and you can read the original story this was based off of here! On to the script!

“The silhouette of a large mental institution suddenly blinks into existence upon the clap of an energetic burst of lightning. The antiquated Victorian architecture only appearing for mere seconds before being swallowed by the darkness of the stormy night. A resounding clap of thunder echoes through the institution's halls as a slimy, squelching sound can be heard accompanying the splashes of the deluge on the castle-like structure’s exterior. But strangely, this one particular squelching sound is not quite like that of water. It is thicker, seemingly more viscous. And it is getting louder every second.”

Who (or what) could it be? It seems like you’re about to find out...

I also added in some links to SFX in the script I thought would help a lot with sounds the Shoggoth and Mind Flayer make to help out people looking for SFX or in general where to start with finding the right SFX for this.
