Synopsis: You come home early to find your significant other playing a musical instrument, one that you had no idea they could play…

Hey all,

So, the reason behind this is simple, I had my violin out the other day and this idea just appealed to me. I should clarify this is probably the most honest I've ever been in a post here, I'm not playing a character this is to all intents and purposes me.

I don't have any real confidence in my skills, but being a member of this little community has encouraged me to push beyond my limits and just try something new. The piece I'm playing at the start is something I've been working on for a long time. You all are the first to hear it.

I don't know what it says about me, that the group I'm most willing to share myself with is you all but there we are.

As ever if you wish to create your own version of this the script is here and I look forward to it, just do me a favour and drop me a PM if you do since I'd hate to miss it.

I'd also like to note that my A string snapped the day before I recorded this, thankfully I had a spare but strings always take a while to bed in so it's probably not perfectly in tune. That's my excuse anyway and I'm sticking to it.

As to my choice of music, well the opening piece is something I've been writing for a long time, at least I think it is, I may well be stealing it but I don't think so, if anyone recognises it do please let me know. The second was scripted to be something short but sweet but when I checked the official rules I wasn't sure I could use something written by someone else even if I was playing it myself hence the scales. Either way I hope you enjoy this rather personal audio. Next week I hope to have the next part of the steampunk series out.
