A far space colonist is woken to a cold, harsh reality: perhaps the mission he signed on for isn't the mission he is actually on. The technicians are rude, the food is horrible, the floor is cold, and he isn't wearing any socks. No one will tell him what's going on and his only friend is a sarcastic data read-out device that has just been painfully attached to his left forearm. At least he's awake...
