I am very excited to announce that I'm finally ready to look for voices for my new project "The Chronicler."

What is The Chronicler?

The Chronicler is a multiple episode long, audiobook-esque, collab written story that is taking place in a fantasy setting. There are over 20 characters, I have 10 episodes planned and 3 episodes already written, and I am now looking to find voices for my characters!

Story Outline

The story follows a group of companions, whom on a quest to find a missing girlfriend, meet peculiar characters, get involved in criminal activities, and of course have lots and lots of sex. Herein between still unveiling a bigger conspiracy taking place in the land.

Auditions

There are 5-6 'main' roles that will be in more than 4 episodes whilst the rest are needed for about 1 or 2 episodes. So if you would prefer a smaller role, that option is available! I'm looking for Male and Female voices..!

If you would like to be part of this project, we are having auditions for it. For the audition, we have made a application document with some text that needs to be read as instructed. Please see this document.

Character Bios (Just for those curious)

Chris:

Chris loves writing. His curiosity for the world around him drives him to seek out stories and folklore, writing them down into a concise history of the world. He's a scribe, his passion lies in history. He absolutely loathes stereotypical, simple lifestyles, settling down, etc. he wants to get out, explore the world.

Chris is very dreamy. He has a vast array of stories, ideas of how the world is pieced together, a vivid imagination and fantasy that drives his hunger for adventure through the roof. This is, for us, works wonderfully with his inner flame of wild, crazing lust. He is both charming and kind, loves to play and tease but also remembers to keep himself at bay so that he doesn't hurt his sexual interests. We don't hear about too many of his romantic interests as he's been absorbed by his writing and maintains his relationship with women as a fun, FWB-type of deal.

He feels a bit guilty at times for negleting time with his family over the years. His parents are farmers, he hates the work on the farm, hence why he's recently actively tried to seek outward, perhaps musing over the idea of traveling to faraway lands. He's not been very popular when he was younger, in the sense that he's disliked simple-mindedness. Bastian has been his main and only friend, not apt for writing, but love hearing Chris talk about the stories he finds and writes about. They've been through thick and thin, one time Bastian saved Chris from drowning. Chris is because of this, also terribly afraid of deep pools of water.

Bastian:

Our behind the scenes hero. Very driven, focused individual with clear cut goals set out for himself. He's sensible, responsible and has a terrible sense of timing. He tends to take care of Chris whenever he gets into trouble. Bastian though, is a hopeless romantic. His childhood crush Emma has finally become his last year, they've been lovely sweethearts until suddenly she vanished! His new goal: To find Emma; is the main thing burning through his mind, as he feeds on his own determinism.

He quickly feels overprotective of others, caring perhaps too much about things he should not as it wears him down. He has grown up taking care of Chris, listening to his stories and tales of woe, caring for him much like an older brother as they've grown up together and been friends all their lives. His mother has past away at a young age, his dad being an innkeeper.

Aisha:

The daughter of traders, Aisha has only ever known life on a caravan. New sights, new cities and new cultures used to fascinate her when she was younger, but she has found that marketplaces and people all tend to follow the same rules. What Aisha also found out growing up was that she was very good at bending rules with both. A tendency toward mischief led to Aisha becoming a trader adept at both peddling legal wares and discreetly distributing illegal wares, and caravans that she has traveled with have prized her ability to adapt to situations and her vast network of contacts and favors.

For all her ability with deception, Aisha is very much led by her passions. She tends to care deeply when she does care, and her emotions are the guiding force to her moral compass. The impermanence of her situation during her childhood has made her quick to engage others and to learn about them but made her very slow to actually grow attached. Oftentimes, she appears to be open and honest to other people almost immediately, but she locks away much of herself from others until she is sure that the person is important and will not actually leave her. While she has occasional longings to settle down in one place and experience life while rooted to the ground, she loves adventure and freedom far too much to ever give it up.

She hates anything restrictive. She’s always been independent, so anything that forces her to stay in one place or force her into a single option against her will is going to make her flip out a bit.

Elena:

Familiar with the trades of illegal wares, Elena has worked herself up the underground trading community for her cunning wits and enchanting charisma. She loves being on the edge of the law, fame and fortune aspired as she builds her reputation as a mastermind trader. Although still very much in the infantile state of her career, she's already gotten quite good at the trade. One would think she hated the law, society and what not, but she loves it for the simple reason that it's there to cheat, swindle and make fun of. What she does hate though, is distrust between her trading-parties; perhaps a bit double edged as she tends to keep herself away from being too truthful about herself and her whereabouts.

She's been raised in a rich, well-known family but escaped the confines of her name and created her own identity. She knows a lot about politics, markets and society in general. She knows what she wants of you, too.
