ABOUT THE SCRIPT: (two dudes play gay chicken and they both take it a little too far)

an odd pair of childhood best buds have agreed to share a hotel room during what is supposed to be a fun vacation with their college friends. it's late and the shorter of the two is tired, but is persuaded into watching an old porno. the taller one claims it's purely for laughs, but when they realize what they're watching is very much gay porn, his mind starts to wander.

ABOUT THE CHARACTERS: (named SHORT and TALL cause who doesn't appreciate a height difference, even when you cannot see it and it's never mentioned)

TALL — sunshine personified, always happy, always goofy, you can hear in his voice that he's smiling ninety percent of the time. he's kind and honest. it's a shame he's been in love with his best friend for years because it's getting a little hard to hide...

SHORT — calm, stoic, unbothered, or at least he tries to be. he's actually very easily flustered, and habitually deflective in emotional conversations. people think he's cold, and they're right, but around his best friend he can barely manage lukewarm...

AUTHOR'S NOTES: some of my favourite audios are long, collabs, relatively vanilla, or friends-to-lovers, so it makes sense that given the chance, i'd crank out something that includes all of that. if i could say anything to those who may eventually fill this script, i would say take your time. there's a lot on these characters' minds, and under the surface they're both working overtime trying to figure out what the other is thinking. there is so much to be said in a pause, and those paying attention will hear it.

this is my first script. i've stared at it long enough, i think someone else should take a look. thank you for reading.
