Got fitted for new clubs at +.5 inch length and 2-up lie angle, but I’ve been using standard clubs.

Would these changes have any immediate effect on my ball striking like a draw bias? My miss is a fade/slice and pretty often heely. I have been working on hitting right to left shots in my lessons but in my first range sesh with the new clubs, I didn’t hit one shot right and was even toe biased.
Would fitted clubs make that much of a difference or was it just a good range session? How would you expect ball flight to change with the new club specs, all else constant?
