No package reward for opening round

I got a special offer after qualifying round for some balls, gems, and coins that was pretty good. I think I got 5th in the qualifying. I got 6th place in opening round and was hoping to get a similar offer but didn't get one. Is it only offered to 5th place or did they just not do one this round? Would have been nice to restock up on some good balls before I do my weekend round. The regular prices are way to high, but the special ones are decent.
