GNT stuck in Jaxx Liberty wallet

So I have about 400 GNT in jaxx wallet I want to convert to GLM but when i go to send it to metamask Iām informed the transaction fee is ~$400 in eth!!!
Is this something I can somehow avoid or will these costs come down when the so called eth 2.0 is launched?
Any advice would be helpful!
