Has anybody noticed how apathetic most people are about the current election? The current situation has similarities to the 2000 Bush/Gore showdown. The two elections certainly are not the same but people really cared in 2000. It seemed like it was all anybody talked about for weeks. With the current election nobody I know cares or is even talking about it. Is this due to people accepting the government is going to do what it wants regardless of our feelings or have people absorbed some of our message and have developed a disdain for government BS? It's just weird that outside of political nerds like us, nobody seems to care what happens.
