Is It Me or Does Locke Seem Overrated?

Not saying Hobbes or Locke are perfect, but Hobbes basically stated you need to defend what us yours and yes you should challenge the king, whereas Locke seemed to defer to the king unless something super wrong happened. I just find it funny. Hobbes seemed more right on about how things are. Maybe I misinterpreted both.
