Where to sell gold bars

I want to start buying gold bars to combat against inflation but I have a dilema. No matter where I turn to sell I will be taxxed heavily by ebay, or ripped off by a pawn shop or big company. Where do I sell to get my money back? For example if i buy a 1g bar for 75 dollars where do I sell the 1g bar to get my money back without losing it due to taxes
