¡Hola a todos! I've been reading up on different cities in Spain but I would love help narrowing down which ones may be the best fit.
My wife, daughter (4 months), and I live in Denver, Colorado, United States. We both speak Spanish; she is a native speaker and I'm able to get by at family gatherings and such but am not fluent. We love Denver’s dry climate and low humidity, though the long stretches of -10 to 10 C in winters and above 35 C in summers are beginning to feel too harsh to handle, as is the 1600 m altitude. We also value access to outdoors and ideally mountains, but at least parks and trails for hiking, running, and cycling. We also enjoy traveling, so connectivity to other metro areas via train or plane is important. And we of course would want our daughter to have solid school options as well.
Thanks you for your help!
Based on this, I had been looking into Madrid, Sevilla, Granada, and Alicante.
Bilbao, San Sebastián, Santander would be the perfect cities for you
