Hola a tod@s,
Guess I have yo EDIT this to include some extra information, since people are going down the route of scrutinizing my immigration pathway. I'll be on the digital nomad visa registered as an autónomo, paying taxes.
My family and I are trying to (legally) immigrate to Spain in 2025. We don't have a lot of money and probably can't afford fancy private insurance. We will be paying taxes into Spain, so I assume we can get public Healthcare, right?
My questions are
-1.what's a realistic time frame of me entering Spain to the time I can see a rheumatologist? I need to constantly monitor my chronic health condition
- What is the process of securing an appointment with a rheumatologist ? Here in Mexico it is very easy. I can pick any specialist and just pay them directly- there is no need for a referral from a general care doctor.
Thank you so much for any help you may be able to offer. I'm really worried about flaring up and being rendered totally disables while waiting for Healthcare.
