Getting a student visa appointment without an electronic certificate

Hi! Currently I am in Spain, but don't have NIE. I need to apply for the student visa, and I was given a link that leads to setting an appointment either through Cl@ve or with using an e-certificate. Since I have no NIE, I can't use either. Is it possible to do it in any other way, or I have to go to a lawyer to apply for the visa?
