My weapons don't change their appearance

(First picture is mine and second one is how it should be)
So as you can see I searched for Internet if the weapons change appearance once they been upgraded but mines don't do it, even though when I upgraded the Blades of Chaos to level 5, for a brief second they had the respective appearance and then went back to the appearance of level 2 kind of. (Gotta clarify, I haven't beaten the game yet, my first playthrough on PS4)
