Mimir and Odin

Post Body

I think the game will probably end with Odin winning. I don’t think we’ll have a happy ending. I think that victory is almost certainly going to be somehow linked to Mimir, or at least it should be.

One thing that everybody seems to be forgetting is that Odin allegedly tortured Mimir every single day personally. It seems very very odd for him to not kick up a fuss when Mimir goes missing for what I now presume is now years. Even then, during the game itself Kratos and Atreus are gone for at least several days when they’re in Alfheim and Jotunheim respectively. So Odin should know Mimir is missing. Why would he just let them take and keep the most knowledgeable man alive? Doesn’t he still have a use for him? It must play into his plan. Either Mimir is working against us consciously or Odin has programmed him to feed them false information when convenient, just like Freya did with Baldur’s weakness. Whatever it is, Odin needed them to take Mimir to be fulfil his plan. He needs them to have him, because some way somehow Mimir will help lead them into Odin’s hands, or at least that’s what he should think.

Otherwise this doesn’t really make all that much sense, especially when we consider that Odin has actually just been watching these guys this whole time, he has Ravens everywhere after all.
