How I would like them to handle Odin in Ragnarok

Post Body

This is not at all a prediction, but I just wanted to express how I want them to present Odin.

So, I think it would be really fun if they handled him like the grave digger. So we would see him multiple times throughout the game and he would seem like a somewhat helpful but generally feeble and somewhat senile old man, only for them to reveal late in the game who he is and for him to tell us who he is. I think this reveal should come at a moment where we think we’ve won, only for us to find out we’ve been perfectly manipulated into his plot. I think or at least would like for ultimately that to end with him either kidnapping Atreus or turning him to his side, leaving Kratos either alone or presumed dead.

Let me know what you think, just my personal opinion. I think it would be nicer if we didn’t actually fight Odin, at least in this game, and focused on fighting Thor, Freya and Heimdall (if they use him), whilst Odin just seems like this mastermind, always one step ahead. Then, Odin can be used as more of a main antagonist in the next game, where we would have to go to a new area, such as Egypt or Japan, in order to foil a plot that Odin has, which could be to ascend to the higher plain of existence or to take over every domain, not just the Norse one.
