I love god of war. Love it. I like all the games I’ve played and I’m playing through them all on a massive binge and I can safely say it’s one of my favorite series ever. Now that being said there’s just one element, one story part that I don’t really find all that great and it’s that Pandora’s box made Zeus paranoid and betray kratos. I think that’s a really annoying move since it seems from the other games Zeus organically built up that he was going to betray kratos because... well he’s a blood thirsty psycho who was conquering the entire world, sunk Atlantis, killed a couple of gods already, and already was developing a massive hate boner for the gods not to mention that prophecy that a marked man would bring down Olympus. I think the whole “He was infected with paranoia” really sullied his motivations against kratos which made sense for him anyway. I hope this didn’t upset you, I really like the games and kratos and Zeus I just think this one element was a little shallow.
