Please tell me I'm not going crazy? In GoW 2018 I was able to utilise the runic attacks to essentially block damage because I'm certain I remember them giving me iFrames, but in Ragnarok I feel like I'm dying a lot, sometimes quite cheaply, to being locked into runic attacks against enemies who can kill me in 2 hits.
Is this an actual change they made, or am I misremembering the original?
Edit: I was probably thinking of the Sindri armor because I played through GoW 2018 on normal my first play through and GMGOW on New Game . I have to say though I'm really feeling the bite of combat in Ragnarok a lot. Give Me No Mercy easily kills me in 2/3 normal hits or one red on optional bosses. I spent 45 minutes on Fraekni although I had only just unlocked the berserkers. I really enjoy the average combat on No Mercy, I often have to retry an encounter 2/3 times before I have a good strategy, but doing bosses where a poorly timed R1 runic or even just a misinput means guaranteed death is really driving me towards normal difficulty.
