So, a little background. I'm an amateur adult keeper, playing in Texas. I play both indoor and outdoor -- outdoor is spring, summer, and fall. The fields we play on are ... not the best ... and my goal area is typically pretty torn up and usually very hard.
In indoor, or in the winter, I wear pants, but it's just too damn hot from the end of the spring season until the middle of the fall season to wear pants in goal. For example, the heat index during my practice today (at 10:00 am) was 105.
On these fields, my knees and elbows inevitably get cut up and are bleeding by the end of a game, even with proper form. My question to y'all: how do you protect against cuts/raspberries when it's too hot for pants?
In before "quit being a pussy."
