The High Septon was dressed in a lavish robe of silks and satin. He was preaching to throngs of small folk. He called out for "Father judge us, Mother grant us Mercy and Warrior protect us." He led the congregation in prayer. Incense was burning and the septons were making their way through the crowds holding solid silver bowls, asking people to donate to the faith. After the mass was finished the High Septon retired to his solar to review various notes and papers detailing the Faith's affairs. Soon he would head to the Red Keep to give the King and his court a blessing. Hopefully the King would like this. The Faith and the Dragons had not always been the closest of allies.
