Harrion Karstark

Lord Harrion Karstark was speaking to Winterfell's maester. "Now, I want you to send this letter to Karhold, make sure it tells my sister, to bring 100 men and Tormund. They are to ride down to Winterfell." The Maester nodded and walked up the tower to find a raven.

Tormund Shield-Brother

Tormund was in the yard when Lady Lyanna Karstark came running in. She was red in the face and panting "Tormund, it's my brother. Harrion. He wants you to round up 100 men and take me to Winterfell. He didn't say what for though." Tormund stretched his back and inspected his sword "No. I won't take 100 men, it's raiding season in Winter. The Free Folk get desperate. I'll bring 200 men, all of them tested warriors. You need good protection around you now." Lady Lyanna smiled "As you say. I will give you 2 days." Tormund laughed "It will take me a day to get everything ready. Have the stewards pack all your warm clothes, but wear fine ones as well. Starks in Winterfell ain't no farmer, you best be looking fine for him."

A day later the 200 strong party was off, scouts were utilised, heavy horse rode on the outside, a wheel house was used to keep the Lady safe. Tormund treated every new town as an ambush spot, and ordered the screening of each home or building. On the third day of the journey, Tormund broke his fast with Lady Lyanna who asked him "Why are you so concerned about my safety?" Tormund tore into a small piece of bread and said "Well, m'lady. I was a wilding and once about 20 years ago I went raiding down here in the North, and I knew how many of the Lords and Ladies would be light with escorts in times of peace. I don't want some of the scum I used to know getting anywhere near my Lord's sister."

After 5 days of riding, the party reached Winterfell were they were met my Lord Harrion.
