So if you’ve seen my other post you know I’m new to this world. I purchased a 2016 forest river Cherokee and plan to tow it with my 2015 ram 2500. Now my issue is that based on what my buddy told me is that he has a similar setup and he occasionally has minor clearance issues between the bed of the truck and the camper. His truck is sitting on factory size tires. Mine is sitting on 35” tall tires but no lift kit on the truck. I’m worried that with the hitch adjusted to give the correct clearance I’m going to sit nose high. So has anybody installed like a 2” lift on their trailer to help with clearance issues? I’ve seen plenty of videos of people doing this, but would like a second opinion. Yes I could go to a smaller tire, but I like the way the 35’s look and they are brand new so I’d rather not waste money on another set of tires.
