Hi there - I saw a post where someone asked a very similar question to my own, but I figured I’d rephrase and see what people came up with.

I have a small family of four - the kids are 3 and 1. For that reason bunk beds are preferred so we can hang a sheet over one of the beds for the baby.

The Subaru Ascent has a max tow capacity of 5k pounds. I understand I’d need a small trailer and I was wondering what people would recommend. For sake of argument let’s say money isn’t an issue (though of course it is).

I know people will recommend buying a truck and getting a bigger trailer, but I don’t think that’s an option for my family.

EDIT: people are saying to not do this, which I appreciate. However, the trailers I’m looking at weigh between 2300-2800 pounds. I’m interested in the TAB400 and similar trailers.
