Before we give you your first step, please read these important notes.

1. If possible, do not use mobile. This challenge has been designed to be completed on a computer, and some key steps may not work if you are using mobile.
2. You may work with another person, but at your own risk. If you work with someone who you don't know or trust, they may take advantage of you to get ahead and then abandon you near the end. Additionally, if a group/partnership does win, OPs are not responsible for splitting the reward between you. Because of all this, please really think it through before you decide to team up.
3. We should not have to say this, but if you find the answer to a step do not post it here. You could be helping other people. If it is the last step, there will be clear instructions stating what you should do. If it does not explicitly state that it is the last step and you have won, then you have not finished. If there is an issue with a link or clue you find, private message one of us and we will help you troubleshoot.
4. After you get through this first step, there will be a place you can openly ask questions or ask for hints, and if you get that far please use that instead of commenting here, we will be able to respond more promptly there.
5. An answer key will be posted after all the prizes have been awarded. Please check back for updates.

Finally, here is your first clue. We will give you seven (7) links, each one to a Pycto. If you do not know what a Pycto is, it is essentially a digital puzzle. Once you complete each Pycto, it will give you a clue.

In this case, the clue will be one (1) character of a link. Once you have completed them all, you can put them together and go to that link.

You do not have to do them in any particular order, and they are resumable so you can come back and click on the link again at any time and your progress will be saved (as long as you use the same browser and device).

The link will be formatted like this: imgur.com/a/???????. There will be seven (7) characters and only one (1) is a number. That number can be easily guessed once you have all the other characters as there are only ten (10) numbers you could write, so we have made it so that the most difficult Pycto has that number. You do not have to solve it if you are willing to try some trial and error.

Please ensure that you have read and understand all of the above before you begin. If you have any questions about this first step or this post, please comment below. Hints will not be given for this first step, so please do not ask.
