My girlfriend and I have been hooked, playing every day since Saturday. Tonight we headed into the crypts to find out more about the gloom. We are off to a great start, clearing the first room and the corridor but taking some serious hits.

In we burst to the small room, her cragheart (Fonzy) first my spellweaver (Elheim) close behind. Elemental magic is everywhere and we have the earth demon almost done. And then she steps on the chest... 3 damage. Poison. It's soon over for Fonzy...

With 4 turns of cards left at best I decide to make a run for it, the demon chasing me out of rage up the corridor. Throwing down ride the wind I sweep up the corridor into the last room so we know what is there for the replay and grab the chest. Get a cheeky Frost Armor blast at one wind elemental for a damage and wait out the inevitable.

The cultist moves up but is out of range. One elemental blasts me leaving me on 1 hp. The other misses!

Mana bolt and Fire orbs start the next turn. 2 on the cultist sees him off the board. 1 on the damaged elemental sees him off. Attack 3 against a shield 2 enemy left. Crit! It's dead. Enough time for a short rest and next turn is the last two cards.

I make it just to the door putting the lumbering earth demon just back in range of impaling eruption, with anything but a null or - 2 putting victory in our hands.

The demon dead, Elheim goes staggers back to join Fonzy outside. Only shame was my battle goal was Don't let allies get exhausted! What a truly epic amazing game this is
