I was having this discussion with another person on this sub, but it seems the slide is not consistently locking back on an empty chamber, leading to just a dry fire when the mag is empty. This occurred about 50% of the time. Since ammo is scarce and expensive nowadays, is there any way to confirm the issue without using any more precious ammo? Recently, I added a flashlight and a tyrant CNC magazine release and slide release. Could it be either of those parts or me simply not having my gun clean enough or what? Would really like to not have to replace the parts, so anything I can do to tell if there’s an installation issue or sand down something?
