So this is the first 26 I’ve ever built. Done plenty of p80s, 17s, 19s, 43s, plus I 3d print. Never once have I had an issue I couldn’t resolve. Until now. The slide would not go back far enough for the slide release lever to catch. I tried 3 different levers, a p80, a Glock OEM, and a ghost inc. it wasn’t until I put some no name brand random one I had laying around that it catches. (Oh, and at first, I was an idiot and had the slide lock installed backward). I also bumped the connector out a little and it makes the trigger a little gritty. The slide is aftermarket from MDX who I’ve never had a problem with. The lower parts kit was OEM and the slide parts kit was p80, but I replaced most of those parts with OEM that I had laying around. Still haven’t test fired it after this “fix” but will today. Wanted some ideas on what the hell. My first thought was the slide release lever wasn’t sitting in the groove on the trigger pin.
