The CNN news intro played before the somber face of the news anchor, a man who looked in shock over the events he was reading. His mouth hanged open for several moments before he found his composer and began to speak the words on the teleprompter.
Blood, fire, and death filled the streets of the USA today as violent clashes between law enforcement, national guard forces, and the occupying insurgents broke out in both the city of Portland and Arizona. Videos and images of the conflicts broke out as protesters around the occupied zone filmed the columns of National guard units moving into the zones. Moreover, several of the Portland insurgents were reportedly live streaming the battle, which clips of have now spread across the internet as no one can do anything to stop the spread of the videos.
While we don't have all the current information, CNN has obtained leaked casualty reports from national guard units who refused the government's orders to conduct the attacks. By our estimates, this made up around 40-60% of national guard units who refused the order to shoot at what the government called insurgent groups. We now give you the statistics but warn that many may find the numbers shocking.
Portland Casualties:
- 164 insurgents/militia killed
- 249 insurgents/militia captured (a large portion of these are wounded)
- 31 escaped
- 270 National guard/PPB killed
- 526 National guard/PPB wounded
- 27 citizens injured by right-wing militia around the occupied zone
- 3 citizens killed by right-wing militia
Arizona Casualties:
- 121 militia/insurgents killed
- 105 militia/insurgents captured (a large portion are wounded)
- 54 insurgents escaped
- 87 National guard/local police killed
- 103 National guard/local police wounded
- 28 citizens injured as pro-insurgent groups clashed with NG/police units outside the occupied zone
- 3 citizens killed as pro-insurgent groups fought with NG/police units outside the occupied zone
We will continue to update you as the situation unfolds and cover the growing protests over the government's actions. May God have mercy on our nation in these troubled times.
The camera cut away from the reporter, who sat there in his chair, unable to move. "What happened to this nation," he thought before bursting into tears only to be rushed offset before the commercial break ended.
